Dear euforia community,

We felt it was high time to give you an update on what’s going at euforia since we reset the counters in January and strived to give space for euforia 3.0 to emerge.

We have undergone a deep and meaningful process to reflect on what the organisation is called for, both from our inner perspectives as members, as well as from the outside perspective, i.e what the world needs and how we could best support changemakers from a new structure. Our most important promise to "continue to fully focus on the solutions that our current world needs, flying financially lighter" has indeed paid off: euforia's community has proven to be extremely resilient, and projects and workshops are still blooming. We have received immense support from our partners to continue nourishing the community of changemakers and want to thank everyone for believing in us and accompany us in this rollercoaster journey. Also, euforia is back to a healthy financial state.

Our 2020 General Assembly was a real success: never before have there been so many participants! And many new Board members have been elected, showing a renewed energy. On this occasion we ratified and approved our new organisational model and the corresponding adapted by-laws.

2020 - a remarkable year for the world… and for euforia.

Since the beginning of the year, our fixed staff was replaced by one part-time admin angel and an energetic team of project-based euforians.

We have carried out imp!act events, an international transformative bootcamp, Radical Collaboration workshops, supported the applicants of the Swiss Student Sustainability Challenge, finalised trainings that had started in 2019, and several brief online workshops. The Youth/PLAY circle keeps developing innovative and inclusive programs with supporting partners and foundations. Our sister organisation, Step into Action, has been trained in the imp!act methodology and will start organising some. Stay tuned!

On the corporate side, old and new euforia foxes have gathered in a network of "euforiapreneurs", which focuses on supporting organisations and intrapreneurs in new ways of working.

As you will understand, the transition has required a lot of our time and energy, and some of you might feel ‘lost in transition’. Please rest assured that you are important to us as members of our community. We’d be happy to hear from you if you have any questions regarding the above or any needs or proposals to co-create solutions that our current world needs.
